This image contains both the Orion Nebula (center) and the Running Man Nebula (left) which are both located in the Orion Constellation just below the belt.  Both nebula are in our Milky Way galaxy with the Orion nebula being 1344 light years from earth and the Running Man nebula being another 150 light years away.
The pinkish colors are from hydrogen emissions. 
The running Man nebula is a reflection nebula, meaning, it only reflects light from a nearby star (and thus is darker).
